Colac Bike Park Consultation and Concept Design

The need for a bike park to be developed in the township of Colac/Elliminyt has been identified.

In response to this, Council has appointed The Trail Collective to undertake community engagement and consultation to confirm the requirements for a bike park in the Colac/Elliminyt area, determine the most appropriate site and develop concept design drawings. Following this, detailed cost estimates will be prepared in readiness for attracting funding for a bike park to be constructed in Colac/Elliminyt area.

The Trail Collective is a family and rider owned and operated company which brings together the experience and skills of professional, like-minded individuals to create trails, bike parks and pump tracks for a variety of wheeled and bike disciplines.

The first step for this project is to engage with the community and particularly young people in the planning and design of a bike park in Colac.

A pre-design consultation was held at the Elliminyt Recreation Reserve playground shelter in the Pirate Park on Monday 24 February 2025 from 4-6pm.
