Urgent issues or incidents can be reported to Colac Otway Shire Council 24-hours a day on 5232 9400.
The Colac Aerodrome runway lighting system is being upgraded.
Work commences Monday 15 July and upgrade is expected to be completed by 6 September 2024.
To ensure safety of the contractors, aerodrome users and the public, a closure of both the sealed and grass aerodrome runways is required and no aircraft (plane or helicopter) usage is permitted while the contractors are on site.
Aerodrome Closure – installation of new runway lighting infrastructure - both runways will close from 15 July to 16 August 2024.
Access to aircraft hangars will not be restricted during the works.
