About the Save the ASRC Emergency Appeal:

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) has been working tirelessly for the past 21 years to support people seeking asylum while they wait for their visa status to be determined.
Due to the rising cost of living, as well as continued independence from Federal Government funding, donations are down 45% since July 2022. Despite all their efforts, the ASRC are running out of money and just have four weeks to save the organization from stopping to deliver critical services.
The ASRC is a lifeline for thousands of people seeking asylum, providing services such as housing, food, medicine, lawyers, education and employment. The ASRC has stood with refugees to expose the cruelty and help people rebuild.
