Foreshore of Lake Colac at Meredith Park

Meredith Park comprises 6 hectares of Lake Colac shoreline, located 12 kilometres north of Colac. The park has a free campsite, including a picnic area, toilets and fireplaces. This site is also a popular fishing spot, where red fin and carp are commonly caught.

Meredith Public Park Reserve Regulations (PDF, 396KB)

Meredith Park contains habitat for the endangered Corangamite Water Skink, and as such camping at the site is restricted to certain areas.

Camping at Meredith Park

Meredith Park is a free campground maintained by the Coalc Otway Shire Council for the enjoyment and public use of all persons.

You will need to apply for a permit if you want to stay longer than 24 hours.

There is no charge for camping at Meredith Park.
