Taste of Tamworth to share stage with local performer

Country music extravaganza Taste of Tamworth at COPACC on Saturday July 21 will provide an opportunity for a local emerging artist to showcase their talents.
Taste of Tamworth brings together some of Australia’s leading country music acts – taking to the stage at COPACC will be Carter & Carter, Felicity Urquhart, Travis Sinclair and Anthony Taylor.
As part of the show, one outstanding local artist will have an opportunity to perform in the second half of the show, then join re-join the entire cast for the closing number.
Acting COPACC Manager Tamzin McLennan said this was an opportunity to perform alongside the cream of Australia country music talent.
“In the spirit of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, which is an incubator for rising stars, the producers of Taste of Tamworth are providing an exciting opportunity for a local performer to share the spotlight,” she said.
“This is an amazing chance to perform in front of a local audience, as well as rub shoulders with some of the best in the country music business.”
To be eligible for the guest spot in Taste of Tamworth, local artists must:

Provide a video link or audio recording of the song you wish to perform, and a description of why you chose that song

A brief bio to describe who you are and your achievements in music so far

A short note about why you’d like to perform in Taste of Tamworth
Send your application to info@carter-carter.com by Saturday 7 July and your name could be up in lights on Saturday July 21.
Tickets to Taste of Tamworth start at $43 for adults, $38 for concession and $26 for under 30s. Groups of four or more get a 10 per cent discount.
