Researchers to contact Colac Otway households

Researchers will be calling Colac Otway residents from late January as part of Colac Otway Shire Council’s annual community satisfaction survey.
Independent market research agency National Field Services will interview 400 people on the phone across a representative sample of residents, from Tuesday 28 January through to mid-March.
Similar surveys will be undertaken across Victorian councils, assessing each council’s performance on a range of measures including community consultation, customer service, local infrastructure, facilities, services and overall council direction.
Mayor Jason Schram said he appreciated people taking the time to participate in the community satisfaction survey.
“This survey helps us understand how the community feels about Council’s performance in a range of key areas,” he said.
“As a group of newly-elected Councillors, we’re interested to know about your personal experiences and perceptions of dealing with Council.
“Data collected in the survey helps us see where we’re on the right track, and identify ways we can improve our services,” Cr Schram said.
“Participants are chosen randomly, and their personal details and responses remain confidential. Council will publish the overall results on its website.”
Results are released mid-year. View last year’s survey results at www.colacotway.vic.gov.au/Council-the-shire/Reports-strategies-plans/Reports
