Council offices will close 3 pm Tuesday 24 December 2024 for the Christmas/New Year period, re-opening 8.30 am Thursday 2 January 2025.

Council and the Colac Herald met this morning and have committed to work together in coming weeks to re-set a constructive working relationship so that each organisation can play their part for the benefit of our community.
Both parties agree that the abuse of workers or any person needs to be called out and recognise the important role each plays in servicing the local community, and informing the community about local matters.
