Change to Apollo Bay Stand for Council session

The Apollo Bay Stand for Council candidate information session originally scheduled for Tuesday 11 June at 7pm – 9pm has been cancelled due to the low number of registrations received however everyone has an opportunity to participate in the Stand for Council session in Colac in-person or online.

When: Thursday 20 June, 7pm – 9pm

Where: COPACC (95-97 Gellibrand Street, Colac) and online.

Cost: Free

The free candidate information session is for people interested in standing for Council at the upcoming October election. Candidate information sessions are organised by Colac Otway Shire Council and will be delivered by independent facilitator Ruth McGowan OAM. Ruth is a former Councillor and Mayor of Baw Baw Shire who believes that with the right attitude, skills and experiences, nearly anyone can be a Councillor.
