Colac Otway Shire Grants Program
The Grants Program provides an opportunity for a wide range of organisations and businesses to share in funding for a variety of projects and events within the Colac Otway Shire.
The following community organisations and businesses may be eligible to apply:
• Community groups, Progress Associations, Sports and Service clubs, Not-for-Profit organisations
• Small Businesses located in Colac Otway Shire
• Event organisers holding an event in the Colac Otway Shire
In 2024/25, Council awarded $311,500 to 78 community organisations, clubs, event organisers and businesses. Click on List of Recipients to view.
An example of previous projects supported by the Colac Otway Shire Grants Program:
Improve Shop Façade - Cororooke
Colac Otway Shire supplied funding towards the improvement of 'The Shop' façade in Cororooke, completed by The Shop in the 2021-2022 Colac Otway Shire Grants Program.
Seating Replacement - Warrion
Colac Otway Shire supplied funding towards seating replacement at the Warrion Recreation Reserve, completed by the Warrion Recreation Reserve Committee of Management in the 2021-2022 Colac Otway Shire Grants Program.
AED for Woodcrafters & public use
Colac Otway Shire supplied funding towards the installation of an AED device, completed by the Colac Woodcrafters Guild Inc in the 2021-2022 Colac Otway Shire Grants Program.
Cricket Practice Nets - Tomahawk Creek
Colac Otway Shire supplied funding towards the upgrade of the 2nd Practise Cricket nets, completed by the Tomahawk creek Cricket Club in the 2021-2022 Colac Otway Shire Grants Program.
Bench Restoration
Colac Otway Shire supplied funding towards the restoration of nursery benches, completed by the Shrub Club Community Nursery in the 2021-2022 Cloac Otway Shire Grants Program.
Picnic Area Upgrade - Beeac
Colac Otway Shire supplied funding towards a picnic area upgrade, completed by the Beeac Progress Association in the 2021-2022 Colac Otway Shire Grants Program.
