Colac Memorial Square Playspace Community Consultation
Kids - we especially want to hear from you!
A new playspace is about to arrive at Memorial Square in 2021! Council has received $550,000 in Federal and State Government funding to develop the playspace and will contribute $50,000 to the project. The
draft concept plan(PDF, 2MB) for the new playspace, which will replace the current one, aims to provide residents and visitors with a unique and memorable place to play and meet. The design includes diverse and inclusive play elements, such as a wheelchair accessible carousel, sand play, musical instruments and a poppy themed play fort. The draft design incorporates initial feedback and ideas received from the community during the development of the Memorial Square Masterplan.
