Council has resolved to enter into a lease with a new operator for the Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre (COPACC).Council is negotiating the lease with IVG Global.The following Frequently Asked Questions have been developed to inform the community on the process and changes to the way the centre will be managed. This document will be updated as new information becomes available.
Council and Colac Area Health (CAH) are in discussions regarding a lease agreement for the Colac Youth and Recreation Centre.

Colac Otway Shire Council has awarded a major contract to deliver four significant road reconstruction projects in Apollo Bay, forming part of Council’s $7 million investment in sealed road upgrades across coastal townships in the 2025-26 financial year.
Council’s seasonal leaf collection will run for approximately seven weeks across Colac’s northern streets, with collections on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (7.30am–2.30pm).
Council will be undertaking road safety improvement works on Conns Lane, Birregurra
